Forgive me for taking so long to write to you. I wish to express our thanks and our appreciation for our wonderful trip to Cairo in March.

My husband and my friends and I greatly enjoyed ourselves on the "Nile Dance" tour. Our tour leader, Mamdoh, was very attentive and helpful to us, from the moment we stepped out of the airport to when we had to bid him farewell. He was conscientious about getting us here and there in the overwhelming Cairo traffic and was always willing to find us an ATM when we needed one.

And I can't speak highly enough of our Egyptologist, Bico. We felt very lucky indeed to have him for a tour group of only four people! He answered all of our questions in detail and gave us invaluable advice about the best way to approach the incredible historical sites -- what to see first; what part would be less crowded; how long we should spend taking pictures. He also gave us some great recommendations for music and helped us buy a number of CDs from the local vendors. He was also very considerate -- my husband and I spent a day ill with food poisoning while on the Nile cruise, and he periodically checked on us to see how we were doing.

It would be hard to pick the greatest highlight of the trip -- but one of mine would be our class with Aida Nour! We were so surprised and excited to find out we would have a class with her. She was a gracious lady and a great teacher. I only wish we could have spent more time with her. I hope to take a workshop with her when she visits the midwest. Also I greatly enjoyed shopping in Al Wikalah down at the Khan el-Khalilli -- a bellydance fairy land!

We will undoubtedly be recommending Go Tour Egypt to anyone thinking of visiting Egypt. We felt well taken care of and safe! We loved seeing the spectacular sights of ancient Kemet and the hustle and bustle of modern Cairo.

About the feedback. I must say thatwe lived perhaps the best moments ofour life

Our guide was Sam and he was just perfect. He is a great person, with huge
knowledge and besides very kind and talkative! He was perhaps the key of the
success of much things around the tour (not forgetting the logistic efforts and coordination Go Tour Egypt has).

I have already recommended this tour to my friends here at Avianca.
Hopefully they will take the same tour or some other similar tour with you.

I was very pleased and I'm really satisfied about everything concerning the tour

Thanks Nada, we had a great time. We particularly found Sam was a very good tour guide - very informative, helpful,and fun. We enjoyed all the places we visited. I would say one of the highlights was the hot air ballooning. We were also impressed with all
of the hotels we stayed at.

We had two little problems: one was that we were told on the felucca there would be
an esky and drinks would be included,but they were not. The other was that I was disappointed we could not spend more time in Aswanto visit Elephantine Island and
the Nubian village. Other then this however, we really enjoyed ourselves.

Many thanks for arranging for us to be looked after so well during our time in Cairo, Aswan and Luxor. Mamdoh in Cairo, Hany in Luxor and Mohammed in Aswan were perfect hosts and the accommodation in the hotels and on the Nile Crocodile was first class. When Mohammed told us, on the way from Aswan airport to our hotel, that we had been upgraded from the New Cataract to the Old Cataract we were a little suspicious at first, but when we arrived in the foyer of the Old Cataract all our concerns melted away - what an amazing hotel! The memory of sitting on the Elephantine Terrace watching the sunset over the Nile will last forever.

We certainly plan to return to the land of he Pharoahs - maybe not next year but some time soon.

Please pass on our thanks to everyone in Egypt who played any part in our wonderful holiday - even the camels were smiling!

Just a note to say how much fun we had with Go Tour Egypt's dancer's tour. It was just excellent. At first we were disappointed with the news that other dancers decided to come in April, instead of March, however, the private tour was an added bonus and we got such personal attention!!

The Oasis resort was nice, good breakfast buffet and comfortable rooms. The surroundings were beautiful gardens and the pool was lovely and refreshing.

Our guides Mamdoh and Biko really made our trip something special. I cannot tell you enough how pleased we were with both of them.

Mamdoh did a great job at getting us where we needed to be, answering our questions, and keeping us organized and laughing. He is a charming young man, and we are happy to call him our Egyptian friend now.

Biko is an extraordinary guide. His pride in his county shows and his knowledge is extensive. Allen called him a "walking encyclopedia of Egypt". It is true!! He is also so friendly and funny that we became addicted to his laugh, and tried to joke with him so much, just to hear him laugh and smile again.

I believe he enjoyed us as much in return. I appreciate him helping us with the Arabic language, as we tried to speak as much as possible. He talked about the "Best of the best" during the tour, but you should know that we think Biko is the "best of the best" tour guides. We are also so happy to call him our new Egyptian friend.

Till next trip to Egypt, again, thank you for putting together such an awesome trip, for reasonable price, and extraordinary attention. We love Egypt.

Our trip was organized with you by Maxine L, Toronto, Canada and there were 4 women. We had a wonderful time and learned a ton about your very rich history and culture from our very capable guide, Mikel Abdala. Mikel was incredibly knowledgable and helpful to us. He gave so much of his time and energy and we are very grateful to have met him and spent time with him.

Both myself and Emma were extremely happy with the tour. Especially both of our amazing guides Remon and Mamdoh. Only problem being that other tours (in other parts of the world) since have been a disapointment in comparison :)

Our trip with you guys was fantastic! We had a great time everywhere but especially with mamdoh in cairo. Such a great tour leader! Hanging out with he and george at the canadian hostel before our train to aswan was great fun and he did everything he could to ensure we were happy all the time! (even while in Aswan and Luxor).

Everywhere we visited was amazing in its own way and the whole trip fulfilled a lifetime ambition of visiting your country and discovering the mystique....

The guides we had were very good. John in Cairo and Ahmad in Luxor were especially good, both very informative and complete gentlemen. Mohamud on the felucca was a great host also!

All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better trip.. Hopefully we'll make it back someday!

It was my first organised holiday, I usually backpack on my own, but I was pleasantly surprised by your tour.

Our guides were very helpful and friendly and Remon was very knowledgeable about egyptian history, which helped to gain an insight (also small!) into the great past of your wonderful country.

D and I had the time of our lives in Egypt. From the moment we stepped off the plane in Cairo we were well looked after. Having our own tour guide and driver was like you said a bonus. Everything from food to accommodation was way above what we expected. We even stayed in a Royal Palace. Every day we said "we are soooooooo lucky. "!!!

Tourist police are everywhere, which made us feel safe. The only time we were a bit stressed was when we ventured out on our own and the hustlers saw our hair and $ signs !!! LOL After that, our tour guide came with us. He went on and beyond his duty for us.

After what seemed to be hundreds of emails between us, I'm glad I finally settled

George who looked after us in Cairo, our overnight train to Luxor all the tours, early mornings & late night to deep sea diving & Quad bikes in Hurghada & endless blue skies & beautiful sea.

We were extremely impressed with the Go Tour Egypt staff who were punctual, polite and professional at all times. It was great to have George meet us at the airport and make sure we returned safely on our way back.

We felt that we learnt so much from out tour guide, Remon, who was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic and who brought an element of fun to our trip.
